These Terms and Conditions apply to the SJ Alarms website, contact forms, CCTV monitoring services, customer support workflows, and related SA Alarms app features. By using the website, submitting a request, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

SJ Alarms provides CCTV monitoring support, alert workflows, customer support, and app-based controls for eligible homes, businesses, and properties.

Specific service details, monitoring windows, camera access, response procedures, pricing, installation requirements, and support expectations may be defined in a separate agreement, quote, onboarding process, or written communication.

2. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact and property information, maintaining compatible camera equipment and internet connectivity, and notifying SJ Alarms of changes that may affect monitoring.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that cameras are installed and used lawfully, including any required permissions, notices, signage, building rules, workplace policies, or privacy obligations.

Customers must keep app credentials, client IDs, passwords, and account access secure. Activity performed through a customer account may be treated as authorized unless SJ Alarms is notified of suspected unauthorized access.

3. Monitoring Limitations

CCTV monitoring, smart detection, alerts, operator review, audio deterrence, light deterrence, and license plate recognition features are support tools. They do not guarantee that incidents, losses, intrusions, emergencies, or suspicious activity will be detected, prevented, or resolved.

Service may be affected by camera placement, lighting, weather, internet connectivity, device failure, power interruption, third-party platforms, configuration settings, maintenance, and other factors outside SJ Alarms' control.

Emergency response, police dispatch, guard response, alarm response, and insurance outcomes are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.

4. App And Account Use

SA Alarms may allow clients to start or stop assigned monitoring sessions, view notifications, manage schedules, and contact support depending on account configuration.

Customers must use app controls carefully. SJ Alarms is not responsible for activity that occurs when monitoring is disabled, outside configured monitoring windows, or unavailable because of customer-side equipment or connectivity issues.

5. Website Contact Requests

Submitting a contact request does not create a monitoring contract or guarantee service availability. SJ Alarms may follow up to confirm property details, camera readiness, service fit, and next steps.

Social media links on the website may remain placeholders until official SJ Alarms social profiles are added.

6. Fees, Quotes, And Changes

Any prices, service scope, or quotes are subject to confirmation by SJ Alarms. Service terms may change based on camera count, property requirements, monitoring hours, response expectations, technical setup, and location.

SJ Alarms may update website content, app features, service descriptions, and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website, app, or services after updates means you accept the updated terms.

7. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SJ Alarms is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the website, app, monitoring services, camera systems, alerts, or third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.
