Privacy Policy

SJ Alarms provides CCTV monitoring, customer support, and app-based service controls through SA Alarms. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, protected, and shared when people use our website, contact forms, monitoring services, or related applications.

Last updated: June 3, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We may collect contact details such as name, phone number, email address, property type, address or city, preferred contact method, and messages submitted through the website or app contact flows.

For active clients, we may collect client account details, assigned camera information, monitoring session activity, support ticket details, notification status, admin actions, and related operational records needed to deliver the service.

Where CCTV monitoring is enabled, video feeds and camera events may be processed for live monitoring, incident review, alert handling, and support. The exact camera access and monitoring windows depend on the client setup and service arrangement.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to respond to contact requests, prepare monitoring quotes, create and manage client accounts, configure camera access, provide support, send service notifications, and operate monitoring workflows.

We may use monitoring session and alert information to help identify suspicious activity, manage assigned monitoring windows, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain internal service records.

We do not sell personal information. Information is used for SJ Alarms service delivery, administration, security, support, and legal or operational compliance.

3. CCTV Monitoring And Video Data

CCTV monitoring may involve access to live or event-based camera feeds for security purposes. Customers are responsible for ensuring that camera placement, signage, permissions, and property-level notices comply with applicable laws and agreements.

Monitoring may be supported by smart detection, alerts, camera schedules, and operator review. These tools are intended to support security workflows, but they do not guarantee that every event will be detected or prevented.

Video availability, storage, retention, and export options may depend on the customer's camera system, service configuration, third-party providers, and written service arrangements.

4. Service Providers

We may use trusted service providers to host the website, process lead submissions, manage authentication, store operational data, send notifications, and support application infrastructure.

The project currently uses Firebase and related cloud services for authentication, database, notification, and application operations. These providers process information only as needed to support the service.

5. Security And Access

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

Admin access is intended for authorized SJ Alarms personnel only. Client account access should be kept confidential, and users should notify SJ Alarms if they believe their credentials or account access have been compromised.

6. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, respond to requests, maintain business records, resolve disputes, improve operations, or meet legal and contractual obligations.

Retention periods for monitoring-related records may vary based on the client setup, camera system, support history, incident needs, and service arrangement.

7. Your Choices

You may contact SJ Alarms to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, billing, operational, or dispute-resolution purposes.
